SoulMate Saturday: Dear Future Spouse 08/05/2023

 My Dearest Future Spouse,

Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though we have not yet met, I trust in the perfect timing of our Heavenly Father. As I wait on God for the gift of you, my heart is filled with hope and joy, for I know that His plans are always good and His timing is impeccable.

In this season of waiting, I find solace in Psalm 27:14, which says, "Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!" I am confident that as we both seek God's will, He will lead us to one another at the appointed time. Until then, I will remain patient and steadfast, trusting that God is orchestrating our paths.

My beloved, know that even in this time of waiting, my love for you is sincere and deeply rooted in my love for Christ. As Ephesians 5:1-2 reminds me, I am called to be an imitator of God and to walk in love, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us. I promise to love you with the same sacrificial love, putting your needs and desires above my own.

While I eagerly anticipate the day we meet, I am mindful of the importance of preparation and growth. Proverbs 19:14 says, "House and wealth are inherited from fathers, but a prudent wife is from the Lord." I am committed to becoming the best version of myself for you, seeking God's wisdom and refining my character, so that when we unite, we may complement and support each other as a team.

I long to share a Christ-centered relationship with you, where prayer and the study of God's Word become the foundation of our love. As it is written in 1 John 4:19, "We love because He first loved us." Our love will flow from the wellspring of God's love for us, and together we will grow in faith, encouraging one another to draw closer to our Savior.

During this time of waiting, I pray for you, my dear one. I pray for your well-being, your dreams, and your walk with the Lord. I pray that God's hand may be upon you, guiding and protecting you in all your endeavors. May He grant you strength and wisdom as you navigate through life.

In the waiting, I hold on to the promise of Isaiah 40:31, "But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." I know that as we wait upon the Lord, He will renew our strength and prepare us for the beautiful journey ahead.

Until the day we meet, my love, I will continue to seek God and trust in His divine plan. I eagerly anticipate the day when we will stand together, hand in hand, bound by our love for each other and our devotion to Christ.

Yours in Christ's love,

Your Loving Wife

From Bitterness to Forgiveness 💔
