SoulMate Saturday: Dear Future Spouse 09/02/2023

My Dearest Future Spouse,

As I pen these words, my heart overflows with a love that has already transcended time and space. Though we have not yet met, I find myself missing you with a longing that words fail to fully express. It is a deep yearning, not merely for a person, but for the sacred union we will share—a bond grounded in Christ's love.

In this season of anticipation, I find comfort in the words of Philippians 1:3, "I thank my God in all my remembrance of you." Though we have not yet made memories together, I thank God for the very thought of you. Even in the absence of physical presence, my soul rejoices at the prospect of one day standing beside you, hand in hand, as we embark on a journey of love and faith.

The distance between us only serves to reinforce the significance of the connection we will share. Romans 8:25 reminds me, "But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience." And so, with patience, I await the day when we will finally meet, knowing that God is weaving a beautiful story, one that will be worth the wait.

My beloved, though we haven't met, I already hold you close in my prayers. I pray for your protection, your growth, and your relationship with our Heavenly Father. May His presence be your guiding light, and may He fill your life with abundant blessings until the day we come face to face.

In my longing for you, I am reminded of Psalm 37:4, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart." I delight in the Lord, and He has placed within me a desire for you—to cherish, love, and care for you in a way that reflects Christ's love for His bride, the Church.

Know that I am preparing myself for the privilege of being your spouse. Proverbs 31:10 describes the worth of a virtuous woman, and I am earnestly seeking to embody those virtues that will make me the wife God intends me to be for you.

I eagerly anticipate the day when our paths will converge, and our hearts will unite as one. Until then, I find solace in the promise of Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." Our love story is in God's hands, and I trust that He is crafting a beautiful narrative for us.

Until we meet, my love, take heart in the knowledge that you are cherished and longed for by one who eagerly waits for the day when we will be united in love and faith. My prayers are with you always, and I hold you close in my heart.

Yours in the hope of Christ,

Your Loving Wife

From Bitterness to Forgiveness 💔

🌿 "Get rid of all bitterness, rage, and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." - Ephesians 4:31-32 🌿 Happy #TransformationTuesday! Today, we embark on a journey of transformation from the heavy burden of bitterness to the liberating power of forgiveness. Just as a heart burdened with pain can find healing, our souls find freedom in the act of forgiveness through the example of Christ's sacrificial love. 🌿 Bitterness can consume our hearts, poisoning relationships and hindering our spiritual growth. In Ephesians 4:31-32, we are urged to let go of bitterness and embrace forgiveness, reflecting the compassionate love that Christ has shown us. 🌿 There was a time when bitterness consumed my heart, and I carried the weight of hurt and resentment.
