SoulMate Saturday: Dear Future Spouse 10/07/2023

My Beloved Future Spouse,

With each passing day, my heart grows fonder as I wait for the divine moment when our paths will finally intertwine. Patience, they say, is a virtue, and in this season of waiting, I am reminded of the beauty that comes with the art of patient expectation. Though we have not yet met, I find comfort in knowing that our love story is unfolding according to God's perfect timing.

In this journey of anticipation, I take solace in the words of Ecclesiastes 3:1, "For everything, there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven." I trust that our meeting is a part of God's carefully orchestrated plan, and I will patiently await the appointed time when our hearts will recognize each other, knowing it will be worth the wait.

I believe that God is using this time to mold us individually, shaping us into the person He intends us to be for one another. As I learn to be patient in waiting for you, I am also learning to lean on God's grace and wisdom, knowing that He is preparing us both for a love that will stand the test of time.

The virtue of patience teaches me to be content in the present, cherishing the blessings that surround me while keeping hope alive for the blessings that are yet to come. As I wait for you, I strive to cultivate an attitude of gratitude, embracing each day with a heart filled with thankfulness for the gift of life and love that awaits us.

Proverbs 14:29 reminds me that "Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly." Patience is not merely about waiting but also about how we wait—with understanding and a calm spirit. I choose to be patient in this season, knowing that God's timing is perfect and that He is preparing us to love each other with a depth and sincerity that only His grace can provide.

Even in the longing, I am filled with hope, for I believe that our meeting will be a testament to God's faithfulness and His beautiful design for love. I eagerly anticipate the day when we will laugh together, cry together, and grow together in Christ's love.

Until that blessed moment, I will continue to seek God's face in prayer, asking Him to guide our steps and to grant us the wisdom to patiently wait for one another. May our love story be a testament to the truth that true love is worth the wait.
