From Lost to Loved 🌻

🌿 "See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!" - 1 John 3:1a

🌿 Happy #TransformationTuesday! Today, we celebrate the transformative journey from feeling lost and unloved to experiencing the boundless love that our Heavenly Father lavishes upon us. Just as a sunflower turns its face towards the sun, we find our identity in being beloved children of God.

🌿 Feeling lost and unloved can leave us searching for belonging and significance. In 1 John 3:1a, we are reminded of the great love that the Father has lavished on us, calling us His own children.

🌿 There was a time in my life when I felt deeply lost and unloved, an overwhelming feeling that seemed out of place coming from a two-parent household with caring parents. I knew it wasn't their fault, but something inside me was searching for more. In my quest for belonging and love, I found myself lost in a dangerous cycle of promiscuity, and it became a false identity that consumed me. But then, like a beacon of light in the darkness, I found Jesus. In Him, I discovered the true meaning of love and acceptance. My life took a transformative turn for the better as my identity was reshaped, refashioned, and reformed by His grace. Through faith, I found the love and belonging I had been searching for, and I no longer felt lost. Jesus's unconditional love became the foundation of my identity, filling the void that promiscuity could never satisfy. His presence in my life brought healing and purpose, and I am forever grateful for the journey that led me to rediscover my true self in Him.

🌿 Throughout the Bible, we find stories of individuals who transformed from feeling lost to experiencing the love of God. The prodigal son, who returned to a loving father's embrace. The woman at the well, who encountered Jesus and found the love she had been seeking.

🌿 If you feel lost and unloved, know that God's love for you is unfailing and unconditional. You are His beloved child, and He longs for a relationship with you. Embrace the truth of your identity in Christ and experience the transformational power of God's love.

🌿 Heavenly Father, we thank you for lavishing your great love upon us. We confess that there are times when we feel lost and unloved, but we know that you have called us your children. Help us to embrace your love, find our identity in you, and live as beloved children of God. In Jesus' name, amen.

🌿 On this #TransformationTuesday, let's celebrate the journey from feeling lost to experiencing the love of God. Just as a sunflower turns towards the sun, may we turn our hearts towards the boundless love that our Heavenly Father lavishes upon us. Embrace the transformative power of God's love, and discover the depth of being cherished as His beloved children. 🌻💕
