SoulMate Saturday: Dear Future Spouse 11/04/2023

My Dearest Future Spouse,

As I write this letter to you, my heart is brimming with excitement and anticipation for the day we finally meet. Even though we have not yet crossed paths, I cannot help but feel a connection that transcends time and distance. It is as if our souls are already intertwined, eagerly awaiting the day when we can share all of life's moments together.

The thought of being by your side through thick and thin fills me with joy beyond measure. Proverbs 17:17 reminds us that "A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity." I long to be your best friend, your confidant, and your companion in every season of life. Together, we will face the challenges that life may bring, knowing that with Christ at the center of our relationship, we can conquer anything.

I eagerly anticipate sharing the simple joys of life with you—the laughter, the adventures, and the quiet moments of contentment. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 reminds me that "Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up." I look forward to the shared experiences, knowing that in each moment, our bond will grow stronger.

In the triumphs, I want to celebrate with you, knowing that your victories will also be mine, and mine will be yours. Romans 12:15 urges us to "Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep." Your happiness will be my happiness, and your sorrows will be mine to carry. Our love will be a refuge, a safe haven in which we can both find solace and encouragement.

But most of all, I am excited to grow together in our faith, supporting each other as we walk in the path of righteousness. Proverbs 27:17 tells us, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." Together, we will spur each other on in our spiritual journey, constantly pushing one another to draw closer to God and to be the best version of ourselves.

My love, though we have not yet met, I am certain that our love story will be nothing short of extraordinary. For God's plans are perfect, and in His time, we will find each other and embark on a journey filled with love, faith, and hope.

Until that day comes, I will continue to pray for you and eagerly anticipate the moment when our lives intersect. I believe that our meeting will be a divine appointment, a moment orchestrated by God Himself.
